“Beneath the Surface” is a high-resolution digital painting that captures a quiet moment underwater. A figure floats just beneath the surface, eyes closed, surrounded by koi and rising bubbles, as if caught in the stillness right after submerging. This artwork is one of my most personal pieces. It was featured in an exhibit and became the moment I truly recognized my art style. While it’s not the first piece I created, it made me realize what kind of art I want to keep making, work that I’m proud of, and that feels true to me. I also discovered my love for painting peaceful water scenes, where silence, light, and life gently meet.
